Good morning - I have searched the closed tickets and don't see what I am looking for/experiencing. My birthdays and anniversaries in my calendar keep getting duplicated. Again, I just went through and deleted all of the dupes and then, on the next sync, they were all duplicated again. I have tried changing the settings of Outlook wins, google wins, ask, etc and that makes no difference. This only started happening within the last 6 months - I've been using Go Contact Syn Mod for several years and never had this issue until fairly recently. The one big change is that my email provider moved us over to an Exchange server. I have looked at the settings in Outlook 365, turned off the birthday calendar and that made no difference.
I am using GSM 4.1.32 with Windows 11 and Outlook 2019.
Hi, unfortunately this is not an issue with GCSM, but with Outlook. If you add the birthday to an Outlook contact, it also creates an calendar entry. and if you have 2 Outlooks connected with Google via GCSM (e.g. your WorkOutlook and PrivateOutlook), then both might create the appointment and sync vice versa. You can only fix by deleting one of the duplicates. But if you change the contact item, it might recreate the birthday appointment again. This cannot be prevented by GCSM, if it really bothers you, please create a ChangeRequest to Microsoft, to not create an Appointment, if it is already existing (or just like other systems do, e.g. Apple iphones/Macs or Android Handies), add an additional calendar for Birthdays to show all contacts' birthday optionally in the calendar, without creating an own appointment in the normal calendar
