Contacts with the same email address are flagged as duplicates and as a result not sync'd. I have a number of couples who share their email address, e.g. RussandRosie@.........uk. They are separate contacts, have separate mobile phone numbers, etc and I don't want to merge the information I have for each. Duplicate email addresses should not be used to indicate a duplicate contact.
I cleared all of my outlook contacts, reset matches and then sync'd. All the google contacts were sync'd to outlook correctly and when I sync again there are no error messages about duplicates.
The outlook contacts were originally exported from google and then imported into outlook. Sync'ing with GCSM then creates the situation where duplicates are flagged. It seems that if the same contacts are sync'd initially by GCSM then there is no problem with duplicate email addresses.
