Started yesterday when I attempt to sync contacts and appointments in 4.1.33:

Can you try again with latest version? I updated the Google APIs. Maybe you need to reset your oauth registration and trigger again (allow GCSM access to your Google contacts and appointment, this also changed recently9

After trying the new version and revoking and renewing my authentication I discovered the sync was failing due to my VPN client. It never occurred to me that was the problem because I've been running GCSM and the VPN for over a year.

Added GCSM to my VPN's split tunnel and all is well again.
