I constantly receive this error:

    I have the same problem. For sure the internet is connected. My system is Windows 11 Pro with Norton Deluxe and Firefox if any of this makes any difference. I do not see any indication that Norton has blocked the port in History. Windows Security and Defender are turned off.

    I think your default browser must be Chrome. I installed the latest software today for the first time and had this problem. I have Win11 Pro, Microsoft Defender, Firefox. I turned off the firewall, but I still had the same error. I uninstalled GO Contact Sync, then I set my default browser to Chrome from Firefox. I reinstalled GO C S and was able to connect and sync. I reset my default browser to Firefox and GO C S sync'd.
