I am going to generate the full case mappings from the Unicode database (these are needed for full compliance with XPath, and for other reasons). Using the full case mappings, a string may change length when it is mapped to lower case, title case or upper case. The full case mappings are the ones that should normally be used. The mappings we currently have in UC_CTYPE are only meant for legacy usage (that is, for applications that expect strings do not change length under case mapping). So my question is, in which library should the generated classes be placed? Kernel/unicode or String/unicode? -- Colin Adams Preston Lancashire |
