Hi, A note on the packaging which are god but, on windows there is a limit on the length off the path variable so if all packages are getting their own directory under program then the length of the environment variable PATH will be to long. Therfor i sugest that you take the folowing approach in order to get to get it to work in the long run. 1) select a GNUWin32 base dir without spaces in the path, just to avoid problems "C:\GNUWin32" or something similar. 2) Organise the packages as folows <Base>/ bin/ As today with all files from the bin dirs lib/ As today with all files from the lib dirs contrib/ <package name> files form packages contrib. uninstall shield. doc/ share/ ... ... 3) I got some Scripts for "Inno setup" that does this at the moment. /Per Sandberg /running many systems |
