#2 GNUsound crashes X.org-X11 session as it starts
The following bug has been reported and confirmed on Launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnusound/+bug/282939
The issue is that for the last few releases of Ubuntu, starting GNUsound crashes the X session. Multiple stack traces and logs can be found at the bug above. Could you please have a look at the bug and let us know what needs to be done to fix it.
The ubuntu bug tracker has received several patches to fix this bug. The most recent of which is at http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47820639/draw.c.patch (I can't work out how to attach a file to the report). Hope this fixes the problem for you!
