Issue with output image
I used qt terminal.
A veritical and horizontal black thin line is generated in the output terminal.
When the file is exported, it remains.
It is both in the plot area and outside the plot area
Dear Ethan,
I'm sorry that I didn't save the script for the plot I generated. But I
have attached another image and the command lines for the same, which has
similar issues.
Issue #1: One file is not being displayed. But no error msg.
Please look at image1.png and script1.txt in the attachment.
The issue I faced is that the file "YDisp-T_Re200K1Eh1.csv" (which has to
be "blue") is not being displayed. But the command line is executed, also
the blue legend gets displayed. Please look into the first line of the plot
command in the attached file "Script1.txt".
I have attached all the data files used for generating this plot. I tried
in terminal wxt and qt, both had the same issue
Issue #2: Horizontal and vertical black line in the output terminal and
exported image.
Please look into "image2.png" in the attachment which shows the horizontal
and vertical black coloured line.
The same command lines in "Script1.txt" were used.
Please note:
When the "YDisp-T_Re200K1Eh1.csv" file was plotted individually,
there was no issue#1.
The output image was generated by exporting file from qt terminal.
Please check the "image3.png" in the attachment.
When I restart the application the gnuplot doesnt generate the
horizontal and vertical line.
It takes few seconds after the output terminal pops up and then remains
there as shown in the image. It moves with the plot when the plot window is
zoomed in or out.

Your issue #1 is trivial. The data in files Eh=1 and Eh=10 are essentially identical, so the green line is drawn on top of the blue line. An easy way to check this is to toggle the individual plot on/off. Click with the mouse on the title of that plot in the key. When you click on the Eh=10 title the corresponding (green) plot will be hidden, allowing you to see the blue plot that it was obscuring.
I cannot reproduce your Issue #2. If you toggle off each of the plots one by one, does the line remain when no plots are showing, or does it disappear at the same time as one of the plots?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Dear Ethan,
I understand issue #1. Sorry to take your time on that.
I restarted gnuplot and I am not facing the same problem (Issue#2)
Regarding issue#2, things I notice is that;
Restart clears the problem.
It reappears (Vertical and horizontal line) after some time. Usually after
executing several command lines
When I enter the replot command or the plot command, the lines go off and
reappear (say in milliseconds) in the qt terminal.
These lines move position when zoomed in or out with the plotted line.
"If you toggle off each of the plots one by one, does the line remain when
no plots are showing, or does it disappear at the same time as one of the
plots?"
With this question (since I dont see it now):
I generated a graph without any plot data i.e only with xlabel, y label and
rang and it appeared.
I will try to do what you are asking if it pops up and make a screen-record
video to show you the moving line (when zoomed in and out).

Same with wxt terminal
Please show the complete set of commands fed to gnuplot to produce this plot.

Could it be that you are seeing the "ruler" crosshairs that are turned on and off by the "r" key on your keyboard?
