Hello,

I would like to request the ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) for GNUplot 5.0. This is a very time-sensitive request so a reply as soon as possible, preferably from a software developer, would be much appreciated. If unknown, please provide contact information for your Import/Export or International Trade Compliance team. Thank you!

    This is an ancient open source project run by a few individuals spread loosely all over the globe, with no organization whatsoever to back it up. The very idea we might have such a thing as a "compliance team" to answer this kind of request is, frankly, almost comical.

    It's also somewhat astounding that you would be asking this about a release as old as 5.0.

    Apologies if it seems comical; I wasn't aware that the project was so small. It's common precedent that the manufacturer is most qualified to provide ECCN/export information, so my first step in finding this information was to ask you. I'm aware that this product is outdated but it is still information that I need. If you are certain that do not have it, I will look to other classifiers.
