najevi wants to merge 1 commit from /u/najevi/gnuplot/ to master, 2023-11-09

Several typo corrections to gnuplot.doc
Deliberately trivial edits to begin with.

After having a couple of false starts with git and SSH access. I saved my edited gnuplot.doc locally then nuked everything local and also the original fork in my username at sourceforge. Starting over has gone smoothly so far so I now reckon I might have a handle on the git stage/signoff/commit/push procedures.

So this merge request is really just me testing that I have a reasonable handle on the final merge request stage as well.

SSH access is not yet working for me. Ought key pairs be generated for USER
1) najevi@git.code.sf.net or
2) najevi@shell.sf.net

I've generated both but neither seems to be used at this time.

Neither. Use the public key from your account on whatever machine you are sitting in front of. Presumably this is the same way you are logging in to post already, except that you are typing a password. Uploading the key means you won't be asked for a password.

I've cherry-picked your edits into a new local branch so I can look at them here. I think I'd rather accumulate a larger set before merging into the master copy.

I have just completed the last of series of edits that made uniform the description of each example above the example rather than sporadically below (or within script comments).

I do not plan to take on any more gnuplot.doc edits before 4 Feb 2024. However, I am available between now and 4 Dec 2024 to respond to clarifying questions about the edits I have made so far.

I am sitting on entirely rewritten versions of filledcurves and hidden3d sections because I feel that I need to experiment with the tool some more before I am confident about my understanding of how those features are supposed to work. Unfortunately I have prematurely run out of adequate bandwidth to do this until February. (A competing priority trumped this project.)

My ToDo list is 1700 lines and the done portion is just 700 lines so ... "I shall return!"
