Hello,
the attached script produces correct result running in linux 5.4.0,
but incorrect result when running in DOS 5.4.1 version from sourceforge using dosbox.
compare with:

(Is there actually anyone running this on a real dos machine?)

What I get using the png terminal of the DJGPP binary looks much like the output on Windows using the windows terminal as well as the reference linked.
The output for the "svga" termianl differs only because point types are different. While gnuplot aims to offer similar looking smybols for the same point type number across terminals, this is not guaranteed. The result is hence correct, but not what was intended.

Well, then it's a DOSBOX bug and nothing of your concern.
I was not talking about the triangles, the image, lines etc. is completely wrong, even the numbers displayed when parsing the script are different.
What's interesting though is that exactly the same script when parsed by the Watcom compiled binary posted earlier on sf works as expected.
For me, personally, the allure of the DOS version was that I could run it anywhere where DOSBOX is available. But then again, DOSBOX is for running games primarily.

    Here's some Screenshots.
And to make sure we're talking about the same thing:
    gnuplot.exe dated 19.12.20 from gp541_dj2.zip.
