I have same issue as described in https://sourceforge.net/p/gnuplot/bugs/2223/#48c8 Win 10. Attaching screenshoot when executing gnuplot.exe.
When starting WGnuplot.exe window is opening and closing very fast - no error displayed. The same when opening pipes.

And yet for everyone else but the two of you who reported this issue, it seems to just work.

That leaves hardly any other choice than to look for the problem on your machine, rather than in gnuplot. Are you by any chance running some unusual AntiVirus or similar protection engine? Might you have got a corrupted / manipulated download?
