Hello!
The wxt terminal (default font) plots some characters (eg. D, G, H, N etc.) badly when the label is plotted vertically - please see the attached screenshot. Other terminals don't have this bug.

Thank you very much for the new gnuplot version (5.2.5), which fixed my previously submitted bugs.
This is almost certainly due to a bad cairo library and/or font. Gnuplot has no control over how fonts are rendered. This is probably the same issue reported in Bugs #2048 and #2052
