I use gnuplot 5.0 patchlevel 0 on cygwin.
For my use, the data needs to be embedded in the gnuplot script.
When having big lines of data (>1000 characters), the data is cut, and gnuplot reports " warning: Skipping data file with no valid points".
I attach the gnuplot script to reproduce the error.

Duplicate of Bug #1757

Input datablock lines used to be limited to 1024 characters. This limit was removed relatively recently. The fix has been backported from the development version 5.1 and will be in the next patchlevel release 5.0.4

For now I can only suggest downloading a copy of the development version.
