Yes, it should work.  If you install a new keyring version over your old
(or if you install an old Keys-Gtkr.pdb overwriting the new one), keyring
should ask on the next start, whether it should upgrade the databases
(if you say no, it quits immediately).

Thinking about it, if I remember correctly the database format hasn't chang=
ed
between 1.0 and 1.2.3, so it should be no problem at all.  In that
case it wouldn't
even need to upgrade.

However, it is not possible to merge two different keyring databases.
