----- Forwarded message from Antonio Fiol <fi...@w3...> ----- From: Antonio Fiol <fi...@w3...> Subject: KeyRing - Account name Date: Sun, 19 May 2002 11:07:56 -0700 To: mb...@sa... Hello, I have just downloaded keyring, and I find it very useful. However, I have at least an average of two accounts on each machine I store on the password list. So, on name, I write the machine name, on account, the account name (root/fiol/maybe others). It would be really practical if the account name appeared on the main list. I know it may be a security concern. I agree that it should not be shown by default, but would it be OK to show it when it is not locked? It does not seem to me that it can be harmful, and it would really be very practical. Also, sorting the list by name + account would be nice, though not so necessary. Q: Is there a limit on the quantity of entries that can be stored? (I have at least about 50 planned entries for now, but will certainly be increasing as months pass by.) Thank you very much.
