I can confirm the exact same symptoms on my Kyocera 6035...with the added bonus that as I was trying to figure out exact conditions when font change occurs (or can be reset back to normal (i.e. by clicking somewhere else on the screen), my palm locked up hard and had to be reset. I wonder if the included SSL stuff conflicts with the libraries from TGSSH which were also on my palm.
