That is exactly what happened to me as well. I don't know how I lost all
my data, but when I tried to open my database, I was presented with a
dialogue box asking me to input a new Passphrase. Somehow I either
inadvertently deleted my Keys-Gtkr.pdb , or the old database was over
written with the new. :o(

Having HotSynced a number of times since upgrading, I even lost my backup
copy.
