Yes, that makes good sense.  

One suggestion is that you should be able to define "templates" for
different types of information that you might want to store, and only
one of them is "Name/Account/Password/Notes".  However, this feels a
little like overkill for a Palm application.  On the other hand having
no structure at all feels insufficient, because a lot of information
does have headings in this way.  

What would you like to see?
