Estou trabalhando em um projeto onde o objetivo é migrar os fontes da CIA para o linux e utilizar um compilador free que no caso estamos tentando com o GnuCOBOL.
Porém vi que existem várias formas para se compilar, onde essa forma está diretamente relacionada a se o programa tem a linkage e passsagem de commarea ou não.
Alguém teria algum manual que seja claro ou um passo a passo de como compilar, por exemplo, um programa com linkage que dentro faz chamada a um sub programa ?

Qual é o sistema operacional existente no qual as fontes e programas da CIA são executados? Existem alguns ambientes de desenvolvimento integrado (IDE) que você pode escolher. Depende do que você está familiarizado.
