Updated the tar.gz files.
Be sure to run .botnet update after installing gnu anyway.
There is a problem with the charfi causing dcc partyline flood if not updated after install.
GNU3.0 (3006) is commited to the cvs module gnu3.0
a redhat build is added to the files section.
the linux build is updated and renamed to -LINUX
removed old 3.x builds.
I havent updated the main SF site of gnubotpack for some time, due to several reasons.
Anyway, I have deleted GNU2.xb due to the high CPU load.
A 1.6.12-3006 package will be ready sometime today.
And a updated CVS commit will be ready tomorro.

23:27 : A updated version of GNU is now uploaded to the files section.
Build 3006.
GNU version 3.0 - BUILD 3003 has been released.
This release (and probally future) is released as static build.
This means that GNU wont be using your system TCL.
GNU is compiled with TCL version 8.3
To setup, see the release notes.
** GNU3.0 3003 has been running for a week to test CPU load.
CPU: 0.0
MEM: 0.1
I am XXX, running eggdrop v1.6.10: 20 users (mem: 77k)
Online for 7 days, 05:59 (background) CPU 05:22 cache hit 1.5%
First "real" release of 3.0 pack.
This release dont feature nearly as much as 2.0, however it is stable and easy to update.
After 3rd July 2002 you can use .botnet netupdate to get latest gnu.tcl downloaded.
At some time gnu.conf may change, therefore use .botnet update first and see if the bot "survive" a rehash before applying the update to all bots.
Check the release notes for more specific info on 3.0 build.
Due to some reports claiming high CPU load on GNU2.0 work has been discontinued.
GNU3.0 is being written from scratch.
Its already in the CVS, final release is unknown if ever :)
Latest stable, non-high-load version is 1906b
Uploaded 2.0b2.
This build contains a few annoying fixes from 2.0b1 and Added by field in +user
For complete changelog, check the files section.
- Netupdate didnt work in 2005 (2.0b1) to update use.
.nettcl exec rm gnu.tcl
.nettcl exec wget URL_TO_gnu.tcl
.nettcl exec mv gnu.tcl scripts/gnu.tcl
Config didnt change from 2005 to 2006
2.0b has been released.
It contains a osean of fixes and aditions :)
Check the changelog at the files page for a complete listing.
you can use .checkupdate .getupdate .netgetupdate .netdelaygetupdate in the future to update easyily.
Since 2.0 is more or less one main file, updates will most likely not require anymore recompiling.
GnuBotPack uses CVS now.
You can grap the latest 2000b there.
module = gnucvs
Updated 1.9 ...
next release will contain encryption, and a lot of updates.
Limbo hub got a few errors removed, none major.
Fixed a few things in leafs, and made it compatible with PsyBNC addask alike programs.
(MSG BOT OP PASS CHAN)
Chan is optimal, if included and its a valid chan, only that chan is tested, otherwise all chans are tested as normal)
Fixed msg ident.
Changed msg op to support PsyBNC (and likely)
Made some chan checks to remove tcl errros during part while in botwar.
:-D
Removed about 1200 lines from gnulimb.tcl which had something to do with server connections.
no need to update leafs, only limbo changed since 1.9 upload.
The 1.9 release of GNU combines all 3 packs to one.
Limbo bots got updated a lot, be sure to report any bugs you may encounter, since limbo was not tested completely before publishing.
Just tested GNU botpack on windrop1.6.10 - and it works.
I used cygwin to ./makehub ./makebot etc
Be advice that you cant use makefiles for windows, and the add to crontab wont work, like start bot wont work, since it looks for GNU not eggdrop.
Cygwin : http://www.cygwin.com/
Windrop : http://sourceforge.net/projects/windrop/
The last update of 1813 failed during transfer.
So ... here is 1817 it contains both bugfixes and new features like MSG op disable option, ident and invite msgs.
Check it out :)
Latest build of version 1.8 uploaded.
Some major changes have been made (footer.conf -> gnu.conf).
The makefile will kill your GNU processes, delete GNU, recompile eggdrop, reinstall GNU because there are a lot of old scripts in 1.7 removed in 1.8 (And bots need to be restarted anyway).
To solve a cache problem, we deleted the 1.7.1 files while finishing the 1.7.2 package.
It will be up sometime tonight :)
The recent uploaded version gnuleaf1.7.1 is a stable release, most bugs we know are fixed, and several docs published.
The limbo1.7 is stable as a rock :), all juped scripts removed and have been running for 2 weeks now without larger lag or crash.
- Please be sure to report any bugs/problems/questions/future ideas to us, thanks :)
GnuBotPack version1.7 has been uploaded and tested on a "clean" shell.
We will be publishing a step-by-step doc to setup a GNU net in a short while.
