One extremely useful feature that I've used in other IDE's is what can be called live variable view, where certain global variables / memory sections are read continuously without pausing the code execution. An example can be seen here:
http://mcuoneclipse.com/2013/01/27/live-view-for-variables-and-memory/
I know certain people that would drop their current commercial IDE's if this feature was somehow implemented.
yes, it is on the todo list, will probably be implemented in the next few months.
thank you for the link.
Hello, is there any update on this feature?
unfortuately not, currently no ETA, low on resources.
I understand, you already did an enormous job. Thanks for the prompt reply.
you're welcome.
I'm busy now with a new template engine, to create projects from packages, and this will probably take a few months.
new debug features now have a lower prority, but may be prioritised if someone would like to sponsor the development. the reason I first told you that it'll be implemented was that Infineon initially asked for this to be included in DAVE, but later cannceled the request.
