LS, Here are some words/concepts I could not clarify using an English dictionary nor using Google. So if someone could explain them I might be able to find a translation for it. - Interlinear - Lemmas - Strongs (Numbers) - Morphological (Tags) - Hebrew Cantillation Other issues I ran into: - Menu items with a fixed key definition are at times impossible to translate because one has to have that letter present. (For example: The _E_dit (underlined E) in the menu is defined as string "_Edit" but the Dutch translation should most likely be "Wijzigen" and this has no capital E. It does have a small E so one could get away with it in a sense if you use a capital E instead but it is ugly and does not even work now.) - The provided po/gnomesword.pot is from april which was propably around gnomesword 0.7.2 but I could find no differences with an output of `xgettext -j -s *.c *.cpp` so I assume the strings are still valid. - The usage of Sword vs SWORD is not consistent. Likewise we have GnomeSword and GnomeSWORD in the same message file. (Even the website is suffering from this.) Since it is called the SWORD project I assume we should call it GnomeSWORD. - Found typo's: #: src/gs_gui.c:280 msgid "Infotmation About The Sword Project" msgstr "" #: src/gs_setup.c:278 msgid "SWORD verson" msgstr "" Hugo. -- All email sent to me is bound to the rules described on my homepage. hvd...@va... http://hvdkooij.xs4all.nl/ Don't meddle in the affairs of sysadmins, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |
