Open a commentary in a separate dialog. Navigate the commentary to any book other than what's in the main window's current tab. Find "contextual" xrefs in the commentary, that is, xrefs which consist only of Chap:Verse, without including a Book. This is normal and appropriate, and should induce references to the same Book's Chap:Verse.
Unfortunately, when one clicks the xrefs, and the xrefs are sent to the Verse List in the sidebar, the clickable links in the Verse List are to whatever Book is current in the main window's current tab.
E.g. Reading Isaiah. Open commentary in separate dialog, navigate it to Genesis. Find xref in commentary for "1:20,24,30; 2:19", which should refer contextually to Genesis 1:20 etc. Click the xref, look in the main window's Verse List, and see that what is offered there is Isaiah 1:20 etc.
This isn't a problem when using the main window's commentary pane, because the Bible text and the commentary track together, so contextual xrefs remain in context. But when separated from the Bible text, the commentary's contextual connection is lost.
