I am trying to set up gnap on a linux box sitting on my network which has an outside connection thru a Cisco 675 DSL modem which is set up with nat. I need to know what ports are used by napster because I can not get a connection with gnap or the win version with my current configuration..

I have the same problem. I am using a FreeBSD firewall with nat and cannot get gnap or the console client to connect. I have tried passing port 6699 through but still no go. Any ideas?

My latest connection was to 208.178.175.143, and the port was 4444. Perhaps that helps.
