Having support for http://standards.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/basedir-spec-latest.html would help to improve user experience with gmrun. This would also make backup management easier: .gmrunrc should be replaced with ~/.config/gmrun/rc and history with ~/.cache/gmrun/history or smth like that to clearly separate configuration worth backup from runtime data.
