Hi,

I am doing a small protein clustering project with a few
genomes. I am using bioperl-db (mysql) to store my
clusters, protein sequences and features, and
Bio::Graphics to display clusters as pics. The purpose of
the pictures is to get a rough view on similar proteins in
various different genomes.
Look at attached pic for example.

I am looking for an easy way to make my pics to html to
link the proteins and features to original databases.
Naturally I have no one genome on which to overlay my
proteins and features as features. Instead I have ~10
000 clusters of 1-500 proteins that have each have
various features.

So, I wonder could Gbrowse be cheated to help me? And
if show could you give some pointers on how to
proceed? And if not are you aware of any other good
tool?

Thank you very much for any help and keep up the good
work! The Gbrowse seems like a really great project.

Cheers,
Mikko
