Hi Rob and others, I guess I was not clear enough in my description. I have php scripts that take care of login/password on my website. So, I want to run gbrowse through them rather than as a stand-alone program - that's all. I think I just figured out (at a broad level) what requires to be done. My PHP script needs to set the PATH_INFO and various session cookies before calling 'gbrowse' through the PHP script. Also, I may have to recode some of the AJAX scripts, but that should not be difficult. Thanks to everyone for the help.
