Hi ! My problem is that: I installed Marathon, and I use it. But three days later (after installing) the Marathon is have only tool bar (main) window, and the editor window is disappeared. I do anything, but it cannot show the "browser", and other editor windows. (Placement ? Visible ?). I think that is happened after I shutdown windows with opened Marathon. It is remembered this state, and never working after. After Remove Program, and Install Again it is working again. Why ? Thanx: KK |

Hi Ignacio, Happy New Year to you! New year new problems ;) ... not really, when I tried to use Want based ChangeLog generation I failed due to the following error: [d:\work\firebird\marathon\gmarathon]build changelog buildfile: /d:/Work/Firebird/Marathon/gmarathon/want.xml changelog: [cvschangelog] Exit code was 1 BUILD FAILED The interesting part is that when I was able to build the ChangeLog.html in the past but can't get it to work right now... Hi there, I have tweaked the build script making it a little bit more flexible (reference to Beta and Year have been replaced with Want variables). The snapshots file names now also contain the buildnumber. The next on our list is: 1. Separate the build logic from the library and tools paths. As Ignacio suggested we need to put those informations in a separate file. With only a example of this file in the CVS tree, this should allow developers to adjust the parameter without touching want.xml. 2. Making the build numbering work again for official snapshots. This need to be solved directly with Want instead of Touchbuild. Regards, Tilo |

Have a look at the official_snapshots target (near the end), first the
release.ini is checked out to the dist dir, then the build number should
be raised so that the commit afterwards succeeds.
I would also like to have the build number in the filename itself.
Because I haven't tried it yet, do you know if Want supports the Ant
Move task?

Hello everyone, I am new to this list and i have a few questions: - after i got the Marathon sources, i tried to run the buildscript for = Marathon15, but it failed on a unknown ss command. I didn't succeed in = finding references on the subject, so my question is: Where did i go = wrong and how should i solve the problem. - Just compiling the Marathon sources blindly in the delphi IDE didn't = work either, and i think the sources are missing components. Could = someone fille me in on the resources needed for compile.=20 The truth is out there! regards=20 Wim Possel |
