Hello.

I have been using GLE for quite some time and it fulfilled my needs for print quality plots. Its use of the LaTeX scripting to produce graphs is far better and easier to use than the gnuplot. I was restricted to 2D plots but now I have the need to use 3D plots extensively. It seems that GLE supports only wireframe and top-view contour output. I've stumble upon the PLplot (http://plplot.sourceforge.net/) library that has really nice 3D shaded output. Maybe it can be incorporated into the GLE package. PLplot also contains a cairo back-end which is listed in the TODO on the main site, so this is another positive side of this package.

While using GLE for 2D plots, it seems that it renders markers in the plot slightly larger and with thicker outline that the corresponding ones in the legend. Is this something that can be easily corrected (maybe there is a user script that does it)? I support one of the previous post for adding support of date/time scale in GLE.

Best regards and keep GLE better,
Budo
