I think It would be a godd idea to provide a kind
a "native" pseudo-menu that does not rely on glut menu
which does not have the same font color etc ...
I think this can be done creating a "pop up"
subwindow ...
Have you had a look at the way popup menus are done
in freeglut, using OpenGL. I think they could use some
refinement, but certainly demonstrate the principle.

There is no intention of introducing X11 or Win32
specific code into GLUI.
