    Hello

I've been using Glscene for a long time without problem.
A few days ago, the preview of the content of my TGLSceneviewer broke, and when I switch between code and form, the only Thing I got in the viewer window is a kind of snapshot of the code page at the time I press F12.
Looks like this part of the form where is located the GlSceneViewer is not updated any more.

The only thing that happened on my PC is an update of my win10 against my will.

I tried to reinstall Glscene 1.4, and updated the video card drivers, but without any effect.
I also tried to upgrade to Glscene 1.6 but I have errors when loading my forms, so I did'nt want to add problems to solve and reverted back to 1.4.

I also tried to load my code on my laptop under win7 , it works, so the code is not corrupted.

At runtime, everything is fine. It's just the preview at design inside Delphi that's not working.

I hope this is clear enough, and any idea of what could happen here is more than welcome.

    Thanks, Jimmy.

EDIT: I just noticed that If I reduce the RAD studio window and maximize it again, the viewer space is now updated!!! but if I change something, I have to minimize again drad studio and maximize again to see the change. It really looks there is something bad with GlSceneviewer updating inside Rad Studio...

    Hi,

Strange behaviours. Iit seems the last of your win10 update have a conflict with Delphi IDE.
Because, If you have tried both Glscene 1.4 and 1.6 and the problem is the same. And that everything worked well before, the error must surely not come from the code of GLScene.

Maybe other Delphi users have had the case and could give you a better answer than mine. But honestly I really do not think the problem comes from GLScene.

    I agree with you.
It seems to be related to the way the IDE updates the viewer at design (minimize IDE and maximize again might force some update and then the viewer output is correct).
Maybe someone could have an idea of what the hell inside the IDE could cause that...

    Hi

    I have the same issue.
I could "solve" it by using an older drivber version. I have an NVidia adapter (titan X). It seems drivers in the 38x range work better than newer ones... So not necessarily the IDE fault...
I agree this is not directly a problem in GLScene, though maybe some code change could help as well working with the newer openGL drivers?

    Hi jimmy,
What kind of IDE do you use and which packages you have installed? It seems that in some apps even without GLScene meet sometimes the same problem

in my case it's delphi 10.1 Berlin.
I have only a few additional packages:
    ASIO/VST
    Comport
    DCPCrypt
    Overbyte ICS
    Virtual Treeview
    and obviously GLScene

    Hello,

So sorry for the delay, I haven't received the expected notifications, so I didn't come back on this thread.
I'm using RAD studio Delphi 10 Seattle, and GLscene 1.4.
Please note that everything was running, and without changes (apart for the unwanted win 10 update) the IDE started not being updated any more.

    Thanks for your help
