    The menu that should appear when clicking on the program icon is not displayed, I noticed this right after the release of KDE 6 and I didn't see anyone talking about it so here I am. Because of this I can't manage my backups or even close the program properly, I have to close it through the process manager. this might need a port to KDE 6

    Hi, I installed GloboNote yesterday (Win 10 Pro) . It worked well enough that I thought I may have found my goto note application after a long search. So, Day 1 was excellent.     Hi, I have a problem with transparency of tray icon (picture attached). I've checked the graphic files in the Globonote.jar file and they are in png format and transparent. I also tried setting it up to start when I bootup, does not work. I have to go into my file mgr, open globonote directory, and click on globonote.jar, and then it opens.     Tested this now and it definitely works for me. Despite Pin Em Up (also a Java app) starting fine, GloboNotes wants a script file. My GoloboNote is installed in /home/danie/GloboNote so just substitute with your own username or whatever path you used to install it: I created a text file called startglobo.sh in that directory. Just paste this inside the text file: 1 2 3#!/bin/bash cd "/home/danie/GloboNote/" java -jar GloboNote.jar Make the file executable. Add it now to the startup GUI and no need...

    I seem to be having the same issue but only with GloboNotes. I also start up Pin Em Up which is also a Java app, and it's starting up fine as described above. I tried giving GloboNotes the full path too, but still no start up. It starts fine from menu, but not with auto start. I'll look further tomorrow and update here if I get a solution.

There's no file changes until the application is quit. Alternatively, if you make edits on one system (and ose focus), and open the app on the other, I'd expect to see the changes from the first system if they had been saved. That's not the case.     Hi, I'm testing 1.6 (mostly on MacOS but also trying on Windows), and it appears that note content doesn't save unless you quit the program (contrary to an early comment I saw indicating save on lose of focus). Can you confirm this is the case? If so, any plans to add some auto save capability? I have concern that data/updates can be lost pretty easily. This could also help to facilitate a sync/sharing of common notes repo across systems. Otherwise, I'm loving the tool (tho haven't figured out how...

I think you can have different version of java install in your system. try to download tar.gz package https://www.java.com/en/download/linux_manual.jsp Extract it to other path, and launch GloboNote using that version. ex. manually run <java8>/bin/java -jar GloboNote.jar</java8>

    No way. I tried to install Java 10 (recommended option) and failed even following a tutorial by osradar (https://www.osradar.com/how-to-install-java-on-opensuse-15-leap/). Unfortunately, depends on Java is a problem in some cases. I use JDownlader (Java based) with OpenJDK without problems last years. Is there no way to get GloboNote to do so? Thank you
