i was hoping that there could be a added feature that
lets you launch other programs (mainly in window a
enviroment). for example I want a game luancher to
launch quake, halflife, gens, and other programs
Maybe this could be done through a special type of config
menu that reads a map file containing the proper command
line for each program to be launched?
You should be able to hack around if for now by adding a
separate cfg for each external game, but I know that's an
ugly, tedious, solution.
IT CAN. Game launcher simply runs the command you tell it
to. Its very simple, anything you can run with a command
line works, and if it takes an argument, even better.
I use it to launch Media Player Classic, the list shows all
my video files such as cartoons or movies, those are like
the "roms" and MPC is like the "emu"
Try leaving the emu section blank maybe? then list the
programs as the roms and maybe then you launch quake.
