Not really.  You can poll inside the marker updating code though.  But
the real problem is in the swapfile_in plugin not handling updating of
the parameters.  I tried to fix this once but gave up (for whatever
reason - I cannot remember).  You need to make the update "synchronous"
on all swapfile_in nodes, too, otherwise the stream get's out-of-sync
between the channels.

Of course - nothing is impossible ;)
