There's not a lot to say, really. The original giPlayer script was all well and good, but missed one vital function in my opinion, and that was the ability to just watch an iPlayer programme, and so I've extended it accordingly.
Simply download, extract and, as root, run install.sh. The main script can be located wherever you want, but the GUI is location dependent.
A new preferences page has been added, where you can select your preferred player and quality. Note that selecting HD will not always work. If HD content is not available at the BBC site your player will sit quietly doing nothing. A better default is high quality, and switch to HD when you know HD content is available.
