A python-gtk wrapper for get_iplayer, adapted from robbiecsmith's code. I would have liked to have simply contributed to the original project, but have been unable to contact the original author.

Addendum. I have now been able to contact the original author and so it's likely that this will be merged back to the original project in the future (sometime in the New Year 2012 in all probability).
