I just installed GIMP for Leopard on our mac (running Leopard). Used it for a few minutes, and then it locks up. Reboot - systems failure notifications. Reboot - systems failure notifications. I deleted what GIMP files I could (although I can't be sure it's all related) but was wondering:
Has this happened to anyone else? Results?
How can GIMP be properly uninstalled on a mac?

    Thanks!

I never heard of anything like that and I can't think of any reason why GIMP should lock up your system in a way you describe.

If you installed the GIMP packages from this website (GIMP on OS X) you can uninstall it by simply dropping GIMP into the Trash and deleting the folder "~/Library/Application Support/Gimp" in your home directory. There are no other files / directories created by GIMP (the one from the "GIMP on OS X" website)

But again, I can't think of GIMP screwing up your system….
