It seems that all PPDs for the Canon MAXIFY range of printers (I own a MB5350) are missing the duplex option so I suggest to include this in the next release.
Agreed, I have an MB2020 which is also lacking the duplex mode with Gutenprint. The cnijfilter2 PPD does contain it though, so maybe something could be copied from there? Thanks!

This bug was fixed on October 19th 2016, so it should be usable in 5.2.12.
