A good while ago I contacted you regarding adding an ability to open files from the root mode. Back then I proposed to use the library I wrote (https://github.com/Alexander--/fdshare), and was told to submit the required changes to Ghost Commander codebase.
This patch adds a dependency on aar library, that is currently hosted in my maven repo on Jcenter. The aar format is necessary, because the said library includes number of native binaries, which implemented the most tricky stuff (actually there are total of 3 libraries, which include a single native binary each). The source code is available here — https://github.com/chdir/fdshare. I don't know, how you build the project, so the patch includes a working Gradle build script — if that won't do, let me know the preferred way to attach the aar dependencies to the project.
Thank you for the patch, but I use Eclipse for development, so the aar file would be difficult to adapt.
No problem, I can adapt it to your desirable form. Do you use the abandoned ADT plugin? I haven't touched it for a long time, — does it have NDK support? How do you build the project?
