It would be nice if ggseq would support compressed file formats - like mp3 and ogg.
Sure it's lower quality, but if I want to use samples from ogg or mp3 files decoding them to wav doesn't improve quality a bit.
It would save a lot of time and disk space...
You could add an export to compressed audio function, too.

It'll should be quite easy to do that for the linux-version of ggseq, but it'll require some time to get this working on MS-Windows.

If you have a look at the cvs autoconf there is a little message that will checked ogg mp3 support I've planned
to make like a plugin ogg or/and mp3 support even support for other PCM-Audio Formats like *.au *.aiff etc,(based on sox (Sound Open eXchange))
first it will just be a import/export tool.
