#12 dotless speedwalks are a misfeature
Dotless speedwalks are a serious misfeature. For the benefit of saving a single keystroke, we lose the ability to issue short-form diagonal direction commands (ne for northeast, etc.) and certain other unlucky (and perhaps MUD-specific) commands such as "news". This makes GGMud very painful to use for some of the MUDs I care about.
