#2 fonts without names...

hi there,

is there a way around gfontview not being able to
display fonts which do not have a valid name in the file?

i'd need to view the contents of pfa or afm files, but
gfontview will not display them, showing the error
message "Font has no valid ID String" or "Name of the
font not found in file".

is this a bug or intentional?

It is intentional; however, strictly seen, the FontName is
an optional atribute, so I agree to consider it a bug.
The next version (available at a much later point) will make
a default name if there is no name in the font.
