After applying patch submitted here and compiling grep myself, it works fine.

Hi Tamus Royce, thanks for the heads up. This was fixed in grep 2.5.4, which is available from gnuwin32. If you are running GetGnuWin32 0.6.3 you can update by running download.bat to download any new gnuwin32 packages, and install.bat to install them.

In the future if you have a problem with a gnuwin32 program please file a bug report by using the gnuwin32 tracker.
