Hi, I'm using GestioIP 3.2 on CentOS v6 and I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version. The plan is to upgrade to the latest version and create a new instance with the fresh installation of GestioIP and then to move DB from the old server. Dan, I have to disagree with you. Your absolute statement is wrong. The switches I use for business customers, for example, from Alcatel-Lucent, easily support VLAN names with spaces... just like the IP interfaces.

On a switch, the vlan name can not have spaces on it. It seems perfectly normal to me that Gestio would not allow this either, vlan should match the switch. A description field is included. If you require spaces, I would recommend that.

Hello I have done a fresh installation of gestioIP with the last version in a fresth Ubuntu 24.04 I was able to import from a csv the vlan and the networks ( I did some modifications). But I have a big problem with the host. If I import host from a csv (xls) gestioIP said that it is ok but no hosts appears, I have done the test on a sigle networks and nothings happens. I also have create a host from the web and nothing happens It said that the host has change but I can not see anything Do you know...

I stopped the container, started again, turn on debug, actualized it again, and NOW I can not get it to crash! :-( I will keep working on it. P.S. If you could publish your dockerfile and build scripts, that would be great.

OK! Here is one way to re-create the problem! docker exec -it (the name) bash Do an actualize! ./actualize_gestioip.sh Go to setting. Try to turn on debug - you are now logged out! I know this project is EOL, but I really love this project. If we could get one last working docker image, I would really, really appreciate it. Thank you.

Thank you kindly for your response! I have enabled debug, and even restarted apache. I can recreate the bug, but see no errors in error.log to send you! (Other than SIGWINCH on apache restart) I have upgraded for many, many versions. and things are acting strange. I am running patch 11. When I try the wget, I keep getting a timeout. Not sure if there is an issue with the server or if my access has been blocked. Is there a way to download the patch file directly (when I try from the help menu it says the latest patch is 7 and I already have 11)

Resolved with patch 12, but still having logout error with editing objects (host, network, etc). I have to force refresh Chrome from the top objects (network) and the host, very frustrating...

Hello, thank you for answering my questions. The version installed on both servers is correct: GestióIP 3.5.11. I attach both configurations: -Centos8(version: 10.3.17-MariaDB ) vs Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS (version: 8.0.41). I was able to access gestioip/install, but now I'm having trouble adapting the Apache configuration file from CentOS 8 to Ubuntu. The website won't load, and I don't see any errors in the logs that suggest serious problems (the configuration file is attached).

This is important for the import to work correctly. Helo, I have the following problem after upgrading to version 3.5.11 in centos8, I imported the backup of the database in ubuntu 24.04, at the moment I have the following error "internal error server". I wonder if I should apply any initial configuration from (/var/www/gestioip/install) before importing the database and if it is necessary to add information such as data centers, network, host... Hello, would it be possible to implement a function to change a host's ip directly? The old record would be deleted and the new one created in the right place with all the characteristics? Ideally, depending on the ip, you should inherit the right information, such as the site. We've been using gestiop for several years and it's the feature that's really missing when you're dealing with lots of ip's on different networks. Thanks in any case for this tool, which is very efficient and easy to use.

I've modified the script actualize.sh with PATCH_VERSION="11", is that enough to patch ? After that, i can see : v3.5 (patch version 11 (0)) but i still have logout errors when i'm editing an IP.

Hello Marc! We are running the GestioIP version 3.5 (patch version 10(0)) and we are not able to delete network entries, using mass update option or even deleting them individually. When we try to delete we got the pop-up (do you want to delete selected) and after click ok but nothing happens.

I faced a similar issue while updating from 3.5.9 to 3.5.10: I had to create the subdirectory api inside of the root directory of gestioip (/var/www/gestioip in our case) to make the script ./actualize_gestioip.sh running without erros.

Hi, I noticed an issue with the "show free networks" feature. If I create a root network and have some subnets assigned to its range but its not filled, the free ranges within the root network are shown free in the same way as real free ranges are. is it possible to give the free networks that are assigned to a root network a different color than the ones which are truly free?

Not sure what release this last worked in. But I know at least in 3.5.8 and 3.5.9, if you select export and chose networks or hosts and hit export, it takes you to a login screen.
