Hi,

basically I see only few real problems with highlighting those strings.

1) Tell the string to be " as separators
Tell ^ to be an escape character

The more complicated part is the {} string type. This will probably
involve some regexps AND will remain some problems with escape
characters within the string.
Please have a short look at the preg_match involving recursive matches.

But unhappily rebol string in full extend might not be as simple as one
could think.
