Initial GeoAPI interfaces for CS are at least two weeks away due to 
problems getting the UML through the conversion scripts.

If this is what it takes to fix the build, then please do so as soon as 
possible.

Yes, and we can revisit then, for now just mark changes as temporary.

I'm guessing that this means a widespread dependency on JAI which is not a 
good thing, though it is only temporary I suppose....
