[Geotools-gt2-users] New user trying to get examples to work

ok, folks, I am relatively new to geotools.  Trying to get
the examples to read and render a shapefile to work.
I have come across the following error when trying to
instantiate a DefaultMapContext object.  I have tried
everything, including the java documentation, in search
of the missing class (javax.units.Unit) but it is nowhere
in the JAVA API docs ... help needed !!
