[Geotools-gt2-users] Animate point features - a possibility?

Hi. I am trying to animate a point that represents a vehicle moving through 
a road network. Having gone through the mailing list I've found that other 
users were trying to achieve the same and contacted them and one of them 
sqithed to achieving it in ArcMap.

So my question is is it possible to have such an animation. I have tried to 
change the feature collection of a layer and also tried to work with the 
event listeners that are called when a layer is changed. Is this the right 
approach.

Has anyone achieved this or know how this can be achieved and if not is 
there an alternative.
