I've modified all the modules that I think use xml to use jaxap for xml handling. The only changes are to the way the code requests a parser or a document. One change is that if you have a xerces jar on your class path the modules will break, so you may all need to empty your release folder and do a full rebuild (after you've done an update of course). If you have a module that uses xml (and I missed it) or are going to write one soon then have a look in GmlDatasource or SldStyler to see how to set up for SAX and DOM respectivly.
